Haven’t driven Jolene in three weeks. Went to open the shop and take her for a spin today and found this. Tiny puncture in the sidewall. Not repairable. Have to call the tire shop on Monday to see if these tires came with a road hazard warranty. They were put on this time last year and have a whopping 1,000 miles on them.

I n other news, my son and I now have matching t-shirts with the car design on them .

1000 miles on a tire is unacceptable. Was it a road puncture from a nail or something or was it a freak sidewall failure or what?

Looks like a puncture from something.

What is that, like a 185/70/15?

That sucks. You weren’t lucky enough that it just a valve stem, eh? I’m not sure how the sidewall could have been punctured unless you hit a crazy pothole recently.
